Bertrand Russell and Amputees

Recently I've been analysing and adjusting my beliefs somewhat (which you will possibly hear more about when I'm done) and as a result I have been reading (and rereading) a lot of Bertrand Russell including this thought provoking essay http://www.positiveatheism.org/hist/russell0.htm

I've also been reading http://www.whydoesgodhateamputees.com/ though I haven't made enough progress with it to formulate much of an opinion just yet.
